The sea’s steady beat is a lullaby,
Listen in bliss,
Float on gentle waves,
Breathe in the salty air,
A pleasure to be sure.

The sea’s temper lashes,
Vicious waves cut,
Currants hold you under,
The heart of the sea wishes for blood.

Snap and crackle,
Rip and pull,
The sea is a fickle beast,
With mood swings aplenty.

A calm surface shatters,
Blades of water rise,
And suck in life.

Then it’s over,
And the sea is gentle once again,
No sign of temper remains,
A glass surface ripples,
As the sea rests for its next attack.
I kinda wanna swim in the ocean now....

Enjoy!

Thanks. I've only been to the ocean a few times, but it's lovely.
Except for when it's trying to kill you lol.

I Always found the ocean dull, just a big container just waiting to wipe us all out. But that's just my view.

Really? The ocean is fascinating to me. Then again, I'm a geek. I know a good bit about the plant and animal life found in the ocean, and how simple movements of currents can spell life or death for these creatures. The ocean is big, no doubt, and she'll kill you if your stupid enough to cross her. But she also gives life. Its a balancing act, delicate and as old as the Earth itself.

Wow, I know it has it's benefits like survival and growth but I never put much thought into it, I guess that's why I'm bad at geography... Or im trying to use is as an excuse XD. But you have made me think of the ocean attacking the island.

Yeah, the sea is vast and has much hidden in her depths. Almost everytime they dive down into what's called the midnight zone (Its the areas of the ocean that no sunlight ever shines. Its deep. There's all sorts of strange creatures down there.) they discover a new species.
Lol. That's ok. XD
Attaching what island?
