Nerida.

What is your surname?

Roods. I hate my last name, don’t say it.

What are your three most popular nicknames?

No idea. Bitch maybe? No one cares enough to give me one.

What is your favorite color?

Blue. Dark blue. Followed by black. I like silver to.

What is your favorite animal?

Uh. I don’t know. Never gave it much thought. Horses? I can talk to them so…Yeah. Sure. Horses.

What type of animal/race of human/mythical species are you?

…Demi-god. Do I look like a monster to you?

(Me: It means like, what would you want to be. Or identify with.)

Oh. Well. That’s stupid. I’m human. A demi-god. I don’t have time to daydream ‘bout being a freakin’ unicorn or somethin’ ‘kay?

What is your favorite song?

Oh gods. Um. Either Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool or You’re Going Down by Sick Puppies.

What is your favorite band?

I like a lot of bands, okay? Music rocks. Breaking Benjamin and the like. Evanescence. Stuff like that.

What is your favorite TV station?
Oh yes, because I have time to sit in front of a TV and rot my brain out. I don’t watch TV.

What is your favorite past time?

Past time? Seriously, are you stupid? My past time is staying alive. And sleeping. Yes, sleeping is good. Sword training. Yeah. Things that keep me alive.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

…I’ll be lucky to see my 20th birthday, I have no freakin’ clue who I want to be when I grow up.

What did you want to be when you were 4-7 years old?

Uhhh. Anybody other than who I was.

Time to get more wacko and personal...are you easily intimidated?

By monsters? No. I kill them and get on with my day. By people? No. I smack them or beat them up if need be, then move on. By love and emotions. You bet your annoying ass they intimidate me. And if you tell anyone I said that I’ll make sure the last thing you see if the point of my sword.

Who do you have a crush on/who are you in a relationship with?

Nobody.

Are you cheating?

Seriously, if I was in a relationship, I wouldn’t cheat. And I’d beat him bloody if he cheated on me.

Have you ever cheated on someone before?

What is up with your obsession with relationships? Are you a child of Aphrodite? I’ve never dated. I don’t plan on dating.

Do you drink often?

Ew no. Do I look like my mother? Alcohol’s gross.

Do you smoke often?

Again, do I look like my mother? No. That’s disgusting.

What is your addiction?

I don’t do drugs. Just because my mother was a druggie doesn’t mean I am to.

What is your worst habit?

I jump to the wrong conclusion a lot. And I push people away. But I have my reasons.

What is your sex life like?

I’m not going to dignify that question with an answer. Sicko.

Have you had a recurring dream before? If so, what was it about? Explain.

I’m a demi-god. My dreams consist of blood, death, and strange and cryptic hints of the future.  

What was the last dream [ you can remember ] about?

My last dream? The usual. I’m not going to tell you what it was. Jeez. Back off.

What is your favorite thing to drink?

Water. Can’t stand pop. Though chocolate milk’s good. And orange juice. But water’s the best.

What is your master goal in life?

Uh, to live long enough to see Gaea’s plans fail miserably.

What is your most recent wish?

I don’t wish. Wishing accomplishes nothing.

If you could accomplish one thing for yourself or someone else, anything at all, what would it be?

…To make those I care about happy. To let them livelong, fulfilling happy lives. And one day, maybe, they will know that I love them. Don’t you dare repeat that.

Tell me something that you desire that you can't accomplish by yourself; something that someone else has to do for you.

…Gods I don’t know. I can’t imagine anyone giving me something I desire. Maybe… maybe someone could tell me how to express love again.

What is your worst weakness?

Like my fatal flaw? That I can’t tell anyone I love them. Like you know, how friends love each other. It keeps people at bay, when it’d probably be better they stick close.

What is your worst fear?

That I will lose everyone I care about. Worse, if I lost them and they didn’t know how I truly felt.

Name off five traits of your dream boy/girl.

I can’t imagine loving anyone like that. I don’t know what I would want from them. Someone who isn’t annoying, who can calm my anger, who trusts me to handle myself but still helps me when I need it. Gods. Like, someone who can tell my fake smiles from the real ones. Someone who knows when to shut up and can fight like a demon.

What is your idea of the best day ever?

This day be better if you went away. But a good day would…well…seeing the Seven and Nico back at Camp…and watching them from afar, knowing they were safe and happy. Yeah, that’d be a good day.

Who is your best friend?

Nico di Angelo. He’s the only one who knows why I keep back from people. So far, it hasn’t killed him.

Who is your worst enemy?

Uh, the monster that never go away and want me dead? I’d say their enemies. I don’t really have any people who are enemies. Gaea hates me, but I think she hates everyone. Octavian doesn’t like me, but he doesn’t like any Greek.

Describe to me your most prized possession.

I have a necklace with a seashell on it that my dad gave my mother. I stole it from her jewelry box before she could sell her jewelry for money to buy drugs.

If you could make peace / friends with anyone right now, who would they be?

The entire freakin’ Camp. Mostly the Seven. I’d tell them the truth.

The president announces that the world will come to an end at midnight of the next day, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Who would you want to spend the last day of humanity with, and what would you do?

The President would never announce the end of the world. He’d hid in some bunker and let us all blow up or get eaten by aliens. But for the sake of your question, I will go with the naïve belief that the President would actually tell us that. I’d fight, of course. I don’t like being told I can’t stop it. But if there was truly nothing I could do, I’d tell Percy he’s the best brother ever and just relax for once in my life.

What is the one thing you desire above all else as of today?

For you to go away. I really hate answering questions. I hope you know I’m doing this against my will.

The UPS man leaves a box on your door when you aren't expecting any packages. You open it to find a fancy glass bottle that resembles something between women's perfume and a wine bottle; the label reads "SHALTEIR's Love Liquid." Who do you test it on and how do you sneak it to them? ;3

Uh, really? I’d throw it into the ocean and ask my dad to destroy it. Messing with people’s emotions isn’t funny. Though it would be tempting to give it to Drew and make her fall in love with the ugliest, most unfashionable, sleazeball of a guy I could find.

You lover / best friend is announced dead via suicide. How do you react?

I would make Nico take me to the Underworld, find his/her spirit, chew him/her out, leave
and then go to the bottom of the ocean and never come back.

You were walking alone through your local park come 11:24pm at night when out of the blue you get tackled from behind. What is your next move?

Kick whoever it is into the next county. Or drown them, depending if there’s water around.

You're having a movie-at-home date tonight. When you go to blockbuster, what are your top three movie options that you and your date would probably enjoy?

I have no idea. I don’t even know what movies are out. I don’t watch movies any more than I watch TV. And I don’t date.

Back to reality… who are you the angriest at?

My mother. Hands down.

What was the scariest moment of your life?

When my mother threw me against the wall and I thought I was going to die. I couldn’t see. I could barely think over the pain. That’s the reason I’m mostly blind.

What was the best moment of your life?

My best moment? I have no idea. Probably when I found out my mother was dead. Cruel, I know, but it meant I didn’t have to worry about her drunken rages anymore. I was done with her. And given a few years-or months, and she’d’ve probably dumped me somewhere anyway.

What was the worst moment of your life?

When I found out about my curse. My love is lethal.

What was the saddest moment of your life?

I’ve had many sad moments. Whenever I loose someone, it’s a sad, horrible day.

How do you think you'll die / how did you die?

Probably run into a monster I can’t beat. Finally loose the battle between life and death. I wouldn’t go down easy.
