Cold,
It seeps into your soul,
It freezes there,
It turns your heart to ice,
So you can never love.

Love,
It can warm your soul,
Melts the ice,
Or shatters it,
So you can never believe.

Believe,
To simply have faith,
In love or life,
To open your heart,
Can sometimes break your soul.

Soul,
It is more than heart,
More than hope,
It breathes,
It breaks.

Cold,
It is sneaky and cruel,
It freezes life,
It causes death,
Can you be saved?
